TJ Wachter

TJ comes to TSS as a professional vocalist for the last 3 decades. She has performed across the country for thousands of listeners and finds herself most at home when connecting with a live audience. She is a dedicated NYU Tisch Alum where she was formally trained. Straight out of university, TJ landed a variety of musical Theater roles, performed with multiple jazz ensembles in NYC, and sharpened her craft in the recording studio for many years in NY and Los Angeles.
She has worked with award-winning songwriters, producers, and engineers. And she has performed with, and for, some of the country’s most celebrated artists. One of her proudest moments came when Paul McCartney listened to an original recording of TJ’s, and his response
was “She’s a pretty good artist!” TJ is thrilled about the next chapter of her musical journey as a Vocal Coach with TSS. Music is her passion and her true soul connection. In her words “Having the opportunity to share the passion of song and performance with students and help guide new singers on their own musical journeys, is an honour and a privilege.”
