Jeremie P. McNease
Ella Fitzgerald once said “the only thing better than singing is more singing.” The legendary vocal diva’s quote couldn’t be more befitting than of musical performer and educator Jeremie P. McNease. A Georgia native, McNease found comfort center stage at an early age and found himself performing on the historical stage of the Apollo Theatre in Harlem for the legendary show “Showtime at the Apollo.” Since then, McNease has performed nationally and internationally in the United Kingdom, Austria, and Italy.
Anchoring his skill with scholarship, Jeremie is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a minor in Marketing. During his matriculation, he was an active member of the music department, participated in numerous operas and recitals and attained the title “Mr. GSU Idol”, the coveted top spot of talent within the institution.
Currently, Jeremie is a music educator in Fulton County, where he continues to groom countless young singers and produce memorable moments for them to showcase their talent. He is also a music director at a prominent church in the Atlanta area. A firm believer in leading by example, McNease strives to be a better, more knowledgeable and active artist every day and accepts nothing less from those he works with. As a vocal coach he often impresses a special Stephen Sondheim quote on his students. “If I cannot fly, let me sing.”
