Did you know that how you STAND matters when you sing? That’s right, and we are here to help teach the proper singer stance. This is beneficial because it makes you LOOK confident, but more importantly, it allows you to take better breaths, improves range and agility.

Here is the blueprint for a good singing posture while standing

  • Feet should be shoulder width apart with just a little bend to your knees (not locked out)
  • Put your dominant foot slightly forward
  • Interlace your fingers and extend your arms and shoulders up above your ears, then relax the arms – this brings your chest out, back arched and rib cage expanded

This posture will maximize your power, your agility, your control, your breath and more!
